Indra’s plane was passing over the kingdom of king Sursena. Suddenly his plane got stopped and landed over the land of kingdom.

In the times of Satyug, a little sin will become so strong. A sinner had seen the Indra’s plane and that’s why it became stopped and landed over the land. The king and people of kingdom welcomed the divine plane of lord Indra. The king asked the reason of his visit and Indra replied that a sinner had seen his plane so that it became stopped.

Lord requested to the king to find a person who fasted on previous day. That previous day was Chaturthi. After listening the solution king sent all his soldiers to different areas of the state. But they couldn’t be able to find someone who fasted on the previous day. Sudden they saw Ganesha dutas taking a body of old woman. They asked the reason behind this. Dutas replied that she had slept all day and woke up at the moon rise to have some food. Ultimately she fasted on the day of Chaturthi and her all sins had destroyed.

The soldiers asked dutas to help them but they refused for help. Suddenly the air blew opposite and carrying away the virtue of old woman to the divine plane of Indra that made it able to fly again. This shows the great power of blessings which we can receive on this day.
